Meet Gideon – A Little Dog With a Very Big Heart ❤️ Gideon’s story began in a home that simply had too many dogs and not enough care to go around. Along with many other Chihuahuas, he ended up in a small rural Tennessee shelter, frightened and unsure of what the future held. Thankfully, rescue stepped in, and now Gideon is ready to find the stable, loving home he deserves. Gideon is a handsome puggle mix, possibly with a little Feist in him, which gives him a slightly sturdier build and a touch of athleticism. He is about 5 years old and weighs around 14 pounds, making him the perfect compact companion. This sweet boy is looking for a person to love and protect. Gideon forms deep bonds and wants to be someone’s loyal little shadow. His past environment was chaotic, living among more than 15 other Chihuahuas, so what he needs most now is consistency, patience, and a devoted adopter who will give him the stability he’s been missing. Gideon is surprisingly athletic and clever. He’s not a fan of being confined and has been known to scale baby gates with impressive agility! He much prefers being free to explore his home and yard alongside his person. Despite his adventurous side…
