Georgia is a sweet, gentle girl who has been doing wonderfully in her foster home. At about 4 years old and just under 40 pounds, she is a smaller-sized Lab mix who is past the puppy craziness and ready to find her forever family. Georgia originally showed up at a home in a rural area, but the dogs there didn’t accept her, so she ended up at a local shelter. Sadly, no one came looking for her, and after her hold time was up, she was at risk of being placed on the dreaded “list.” Thankfully, BCAA heard about her and stepped in to give this sweet girl a second chance. When Georgia first arrived in foster, she was very shy and unsure of the world around her. But with patience, kindness, and time, she has really started to come out of her shell. She is doing great in her foster home and is learning that people can be trusted. Once she feels comfortable, she loves getting attention—especially when treats are involved! Georgia would do best with a patient family who understands that she may need a little time to warm up. She might be reserved at first, but once she trusts you, you’ll get to see the truly sweet girl her foster family has come to know and love.She gets along well with…
