From Lake County Animal Services
Meet Gauge, your future best friend and the ultimate retirement companion. Gauge has spent much of his life coming and going from the shelter, and now heâs ready to finally settle into a home of his own for good. Donât let his age fool you, Gauge is still a strong, spirited boy! He absolutely loves his toys and isnât shy about telling you all about it. Whether heâs playing or just looking for attention, heâs got a vocal, expressive personality that will keep you smiling. What Gauge truly wants, though, is simple: a soft place to rest, a person to love, and a home to spend his golden years surrounded by warmth, care, and companionship. If youâre looking to make a meaningful difference in a dogâs life, Gauge is waiting for you.

How adopting GAUGE works
Lake County Animal Services decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
