From Underdog Rescue MN

Don’t let his cloudy eyes fool you—Gandalf sees the world with his heart, and it’s one of the sweetest hearts you’ll ever meet. This darling Yorkie is completely blind in his left eye and has very limited vision in his right due to cataracts. While he’ll need a family willing to make a few thoughtful accommodations, caring for Gandalf is surprisingly easy. Once he learns his surroundings, he confidently navigates his world with patience, curiosity, and quiet determination. Gandalf is adorable and the absolute easiest dog I have ever cared for. Since his dental and learning the layout of the house and backyard, he is absolutely THRIVING! It is so much fun to watch. He is loving and lovable. It took him about two weeks to figure out the house and yard layout. Another week or two after that, he stopped peeing in the belly bands I had been keeping him in while he was in the house. He completely surprised his foster family by being housebroken! He just needed about three weeks to figure out how and where the door was. Now, when he wants to go outside, he quietly stands by his foster families patio door and sometimes scratches at it. He no longer sleeps in his crate. He loves sleeping…

How adopting Gandalf works

Underdog Rescue MN decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
