This incredibly affectionate and intelligent pup is the kind of companion who forms a truly special bond with her person. ?? Foxy is smart, eager to learn, and already knows her basics—sit, down, stay, and paw! She’s also dog-friendly and enjoys having canine friends. When it comes to her humans, Foxy tends to bond very closely with one special person. It may take foxy a minute to warm up to you but once you do she’ll follow you in a heel position for the rest of her life. One of Foxy’s biggest challenges is managing her separation anxiety. She will need an adopter who understands that being left alone is scary for her and is willing to work patiently on building her confidence and independence and understands her codependency comes along with her abandonment issues and shelter trauma??. She may do best with someone who has a flexible schedule and can make her transition into a new home gradual and supportive.
