From Chula Vista Animal Care Facility
Hi, Iâm a sensitive guy who takes a little time to warm up. Shelter life can be pretty overwhelming for me, so you may not see my full personality right away. Once I feel safe and comfortable, Iâm a sweet companion who enjoys having my own space and taking things at my own pace. Iâm looking for an active, patient home where I can spend lots of time outdoors, explore, and enjoy life away from the hustle and bustle of a shelter. I can meet and coexist with other dogs, but Iâm happiest doing my own thing and donât necessarily need a canine best friend. If youâre willing to give me some time, patience, and space to settle in, I think we could become great friends. I may not be the dog who runs up to everyone right away but give me a chance, and you might discover a really special companion.

How adopting FERN works
Chula Vista Animal Care Facility decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
