EMMA NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Emma Best Guess for Breed: Lab mix Best Guess for Age: 2 years as of August 2026 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 42.8 lbs as of September 2026 Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: South Carolina shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here. Emma is Looking For: Her forever home! This sweet girl is eagerly looking forward to having her own humans for sniffy walks (shelter staff say she walks well on leash!) and romps and all the adventures they can dream up. And then pets and cuddles and belly scritches at the end of a fun day together. And she'll want quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. Most of all, though, she wants to know she's safe and loved. In exchange she promises all the adoring gazes and happy tail wags she's storing up, and loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say? Is Emma the one you see by your side? What My Foster Says About Me: We will update this once she has spent time in foster care. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are…

How adopting Emma works

Lucky Dog Animal Rescue decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
