Meet Edith! Edith is an 8-year-old, 28-pound Schnauzer/Poodle mix who is about as sweet and easygoing as they come. She has settled beautifully into foster life and quickly found a comfortable routine. Edith is generally calm and quiet in the house and rarely barks, although she may occasionally join in when she hears another dog. She loves being around people and will great people thoughtfully when she knows they are friendly. She also enjoys meeting other calm dogs and is wonderfully social when she’s out and about. One of Edith’s favorite things is going for walks. She is a dedicated sniffer who believes every tree, bush, post, and interesting smell deserves a proper investigation! At home, Edith is affectionate and easy to live with. She loves plush squeaky toys and will happily entertain herself with them. In the evenings, Edith sometimes gets an adorable burst of zoomies and wants to play before settling in for the night. She typically sleeps peacefully through the night in a dog bed next to her person’s bed. Edith is also a smart girl who already knows several tricks.
