This puppy is available FOSTER-TO-ADOPT only as he has not yet been neutered. Puppy Adoption Requirement: Because this puppy is currently too young/small to be altered, 50% of the adoption fee is due at the time of placement. Once the puppy reaches the appropriate age and weight, the adopter is required to present the puppy to our designated veterinarian for spay/neuter surgery. The remaining 50% of the adoption fee must be paid in full before the puppy is picked up following surgery. Completion of the scheduled spay/neuter is a condition of the adoption. Meet Duke! Date of Birth: June 7, 2026 Tiny body. Big future. Seriously adorable face. Duke is one of Cookie’s handsome little puppies, sporting beautiful black-and-tan coloring, expressive eyes, and some seriously impressive little ears that appear to have minds of their own. Duke is still at the beginning of his journey. He is growing, playing, exploring, learning, and experiencing new things every day. His adult personality is still developing, making continued positive socialization and training especially important. Duke’s forever family should be ready for everything that comes with puppyhood — house-training, supervision…

How adopting Duke works

Yorkie Rescue Houston decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
