Meet Dory – The Sweetheart You’ve Been Waiting For!Dory is a gorgeous one year old Boxer/Staffy mix with red hair and bright green eyes. She and her brother were saved from a high kill shelter at ten weeks old and immediately rushed to a veterinary hospital where they stayed for over two months, recovering from a number of shelter borne illnesses. Babies that small often don’t survive the shelter environment. She has been in foster since her recovery as a loyal companion to her little brother who was the runt of the litter and needed his big sister to help heal, grow and thrive. Now that he is well and in a home of his own, she is available for adoption and looking for her perfect forever home! This girl is SUPER smart. She LOVES to learn and would thrive with someone who has the time to spend with her, teaching her new skills, maybe even a service dog in waiting. She LOVES other dogs and has a vocal rough and tumble playstyle, so may be better suited to a larger dog as a companion.
