Dominic is a super smart, one of a kind boy with an equally unique look. His beautiful coat is a striking blend of rich browns and blacks, showcasing his Bullmastiff, German Shepherd, and Coonhound breed. Adopted from Safe Haven 6 years ago as a young dog, he has lived a fantastic life with a family that still love him dearly. His kind disposition and lengthy list of dog tricks is a testament to the genuine love and care he has received. Sadly he has found himself back at Safe Haven following an unfortunate bite accident with their young child involving a resource guarding incident. We will share the complete information regarding the incident with any potential adopter interested in Dominic, and we do know that his next family will need to be a child free home. We do also feel like Dominic is most likely to succeed in a home where he is the only pet as he does now have this history of resource guarding, and also can be reactive to certain dogs. We also know that Dominic had been nothing but sweet and affectionate in his adoptive home for the entire six years, and that is also the same dog we are seeing since his return to Safe Haven.
