Your Future Hiking & Hunting Partner is Here!Meet our handsome Hound mix! At just 12–18 months old, this boy is the perfect blend of youthful energy and natural instinct. If you’re looking for a dog to join you on the trails, in the woods, or on a long morning run, he’s ready to report for duty.He is exceptionally well-mannered when it comes to house training (he’s a `squatter,` not a `hiker`!) and is already a pro on the leash when using a lead. While he’s still polishing his listening skills, he is incredibly food-motivated, which makes training sessions a blast. He’s a fast learner who just needs a patient human to show him the ropes.Best fit: An active home with a yard for squirrel-patrol, or someone who loves the great outdoors. He’d enjoy a canine sibling after a proper introduction, but due to his `happy jumper` personality, he’d do best in a home without small children for now.

How adopting DODGE works

City of Tulsa Animal Welfare decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
