Meet Dobby, a lovable, smart, and energetic pup who’s ready for his next big adventure! As a graduate of the Leash on Life Prison Pup Program, Dobby comes with some impressive credentials. He’s mastered his Canine Good Citizen training, acing skills like loose-leash walking and coming when called. Just beware—his hound instincts are strong, and if he catches the scent of a deer, all bets are off! This handsome Plott Hound mix weighs in at 60 pounds and is full-grown. He’s neutered, up to date on all his shots, and microchipped, ready to join his forever family. Born on 12/31/17, Dobby is a mature pup with the perfect balance of energy and relaxation. Dobby is highly food-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding for both him and his handler. He’s learned a variety of commands, including “sit,” “stay,” “come,” “heel,” “high five,” “peek-a-boo,” and even “relax.” One of his signature tricks? Giving a high-five with both paws! He loves mental stimulation and is always eager to learn new things, especially if snacks are involved. Dobby is great with all people and other dogs—they call him the “Ambassador to Dogs” and is first to greet new arrivals into the program. However…
