Meet Darling! Darling truly lives up to her name. She came to us from our friends @bostonanimalcontrol after being found as a severely emaciated stray. When she first arrived, it was clear she had been through so much—she was broken, frightened, and badly mistreated. She couldn’t make eye contact, walk down the stairs, or even wag her tail. But within just one day, her foster family began to see something beautiful happening: a little light starting to come back . . And now? Darling is SO HAPPY. Her whole body wiggles with excitement, she gives endless kisses, and she’s discovering that the world can actually be a wonderful place. She’s still learning how to “dog” but she gains confidence every day. She loves to frolic, prance, play, and explore, but she also settles beautifully and is perfectly content curled up in her person’s lap while they work or read. She’s a true cuddle bug who wants to be wherever her people…
