Darcy (TX) is a female pitbull terrier who was estimated by our veterinary partner to be 3 years old at the time of intake in May 2026.. Darcy is good with people and other dogs but no cats for this little lady!Darcy's adoption fee is $500.00.Darcy is your typical rag to riches story, although her story has just begun and she is on her way to the riches part of the story. Poor Darcy was thrown away and we found her literally in a garbage dump on the side of the road. Once we heard about her situation we jumped right in and got her a place to stay, checked out by the vet and now gets fed on a regular schedule. This poor girl was crying in pain when we carried her to safety but waggin' her tail the entire time. She must feel like she hit the jackpot, but we know the real jackpot is the family that adopts her! She is super sweet, loves people and other dogs although cats she is not a fan of. If you would like to adopt Darcy and invite her into your comfortable, loving home as a family member well loved and safe, please put your application in here: www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org Please also be sure to reference her name as Darcy (TX) in case of duplicate names within the rescue.
