✨ UPDATE!! MEET DAKOTA! ✨ Meet Dakota! This adorable little guy came to us from a local overcrowded shelter and has settled beautifully into foster care! Dakota is a 3–4-month-old Terrier mix weighing just 4 lbs. Based on his current size, we believe he may be around 10–15 lbs. as an adult, but with mixed-breed puppies, adult size is always our best guess. This little guy is SO sweet, playful, and great with other dogs! He’s enjoying foster life, playing with his furry friends, and showing everyone what a happy little pup he is. Dakota is UTD, neutered, and READY for his forever home! Our adoptions are NOT first come, first served, and there is NO fee to apply! We work to find the home that is the best match for each individual animal. We never state that any animal is fully house-trained. New environments, situations, families, and routines can lead to accidents—even with the most well-trained animals. Puppies especially will need continued potty training, socialization, and guidance as they grow. ADOPTION FEE: $195 The adoption fee includes a vet check, age-appropriate vaccinations (at least 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm testing if over 6 months old, rabies…

How adopting Dakota works

Wags and Whiskers Animal Rescue League decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
