DAISY IS STILL WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO NOTICE HER She has been at the Shelter since February and needs her own home. Daisy was found as a stray at the river. She does okay with other dogs but really shines when she is with people, regardless of age. Daisy is a Pit Bull and with that comes a label that many people can not see past. We ask that you look past what her breed is and see her for way she is---a sweet, loving girl just looking for the right person. Could that be you?Daisy has been posted before. Her story has been shared, her pictures have been seen, and still, this sweet girl is waking up inside the shelter instead of in a home of her own.Sometimes the saddest shelter dogs are not the ones who have completely given up. Sometimes they are the ones who still look at every person with hope in their eyes, believing each new face might finally be the one who came for them. That is Daisy.Daisy was originally found wandering near Mason’s Boat Dock. When one of our volunteers went out to pick her up, they expected to have to catch a scared and frightened stray. Instead, Daisy simply walked right over, happy to see someone and ready to make a new friend. She had already wandered…
