Animal Profile: Copper is an estimated 4.5-year-old, 80 lb neutered male Doberman with natural ears and a docked tail. He was originally picked up as a stray in Georgia and joined us via Project Freedom Ride. He was evaluated to be very friendly with dogs and people. Foster Update: Copper is fun-loving boy with a zest for life and a heart that's just waiting to be shared. He is happy to hang out on the couch but he's always ready for an adventure, a game of fetch, or any opportunity to spend time with his people. A little exercise goes a long way with Copper, and once he's had a chance to burn off some energy, he's happy to settle in and relax. One of Copper's favorite things in the world is chasing tennis balls. He's got the "chase" part mastered and puts his whole heart into it. The "bring it back and drop it" part is still a work in progress, but he approaches every game with such joy and determination that it's hard not to smile. Copper can be a little cautious when meeting new people, preferring to take a moment to assess the situation.
