CONNER HAS BEEN THROUGH A LOT — AND HE'S STILL THE SAME SWEET BOY. When we first introduced Conner, he was dealing with a painful ear hematoma. It was treated, but unfortunately, it kept coming back. Conner underwent multiple procedures in an effort to resolve the problem, but the painful hematomas continued to recur. Ultimately, the decision was made to remove the affected ear flap so Conner could finally be comfortable. So yes, Conner looks a little different these days. But we think his new look tells the story of a dog who has been through quite a bit—and has come out the other side still every bit as sweet.Conner is the kind of dog who makes a lovely first impression. He's calm, gentle and polite and enjoys being with people without demanding all the attention. He walks nicely on leash, knows “sit,” and takes treats gently. He simply has an easy, pleasant way about him. And apparently, losing an ear hasn't affected his ability to be ridiculously charming. Just look at that raised paw.
