What we do know is how this little girl found her way to us. Clementine came from a small shelter that most people will never hear about. They do everything they can, but they simply don't have the resources or space to keep up with the number of dogs coming through their doors. Every couple of weeks, dogs still waiting there are at risk of being euthanized simply because there isn't anywhere for them to go. Our amazing rescue partner sent us a video of the dogs currently there, and among all the puppies was one tiny, shut-down girl tucked into the corner. We immediately said…

In the rescue's own words, as they published it.
