Chico is a 2-year-old Heeler with a big personality and an even bigger heart. After spending time as a stray, he's learning what it means to be part of a family and enjoys being close to his people. He's affectionate, loyal, and loves companionship once he's comfortable with you. Like many intelligent working breeds, Chico values his person and prefers to not be left alone. he absolutely loves attention and would appreciate a human that will love him endlessly. Chico is looking for a patient, confident adopter who can provide structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement training. In return, he'll be a devoted companion with plenty of character and spirit. Because of his handling sensitivities, a home with older or respectful children may be the best fit.
