From Berkeley County Humane Society

Carson is a 4 yr. old Boxer mix. He would do best in a home without small children. We don't know what he thinks about other dogs, but he does not like cats. Carson is strong on leash, but listens well. He loves water and is such a sweet boy! Carson is neutered and vaccinated. Adoption fee... $175, cash or credit card. If you already have a dog, bring them in with you for a 'meet and greet'. Mon.-Sat. 10-4

In the rescue's own words, as they published it.

How adopting Carson works

Berkeley County Humane Society decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
