From Polka Dogz Pet REscue, INc.
Busta Rhymes was surrendered to a vet for euthanasia after becoming so overweight that he could barely walk. When Polka Dogz Pet Rescue took him in at 34 pounds, his journey to becoming the happy, active boy he was meant to be began. With aqua exercise, portion control, encouragement, and lots of love, Busta has lost an incredible 17 pounds—half his body weight! He is now running and playing around the house and yard and has come so far.Busta is a sweet, loving little guy with a big “I can do it!” attitude. His back legs remain a little weak from carrying the extra weight for so long, and he cannot manage regular stairs.Busta has overcome so much and never gives up. Now, all he needs is a loving forever family to continue showing him just how wonderful life can be! PLEASE NOTE: All your current pets must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention to adopt from Polka Dogz. We only adopt in Florida. All adoption fees go to help all the dogs in the rescue, some of which require extensive medical…
