From Ruff Start Rescue

*This animal is a part of our “Seniors for Seniors” program where we offer senior adopters an opportunity to adopt an eligible pet at a discounted fee.* Brutus is a 12-year-old senior gentleman who has recently joined rescue and is settling into his foster home after a major life change. His beloved owner sadly passed away, which landed Brutus at the impound through no fault of his own. Despite everything he’s been through, Brutus remains a loving, resilient boy with so much affection left to give. Though he’s a senior, Brutus still has some zest for life and a little pep in his step. He absolutely adores being around his people and soaking up attention. Whether it’s curling up beside you on the couch or gently plopping his head in your lap, Brutus is happiest when he’s close and snuggling. Brutus enjoys sniffing around the yard and going for leisurely walks, taking in the world at his own pace. Brutus can be trusted to free roam the house. While he will go into a kennel if needed, he much prefers having the freedom to move between his favorite spots, usually the couch and a cozy dog bed. He does well with other dogs, cats, and children. While he’s not one for rowdy play, Brutus…
