* This dog will be at the Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, October 10th from 12PM – 3PM (unless adopted prior to the event). 3910 Middlefield Road All DPS Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea/tick treated, and microchipped prior to adoption. Adoption Fee: $650 Broccoli Beef 5 years old | 40 pounds | Chow Chow Broccoli Beef has a magnificent name, an even better smile, and a little tuft of black fur behind her right ear that looks like her very own birthmark. This one-eyed beauty is discovering how good life can be, one backyard adventure at a time. A Girl with Her Own Pace When Broccoli Beef first arrived in her foster home, she kept her distance and quietly watched everything around her. She wasn’t interested in food, toys, or treats. As she’s grown more comfortable, her personality has begun to shine: she now picks up plush toys and trots around the yard with them, cautiously accepts treats from a hand, and has become a devoted fan of cheese. Broccoli Beef is independent and doesn’t demand attention. She may choose to sit nearby, though, and if you offer a scratch behind her ear, she’ll lean in to let you know you’ve found the spot.
