Meet Bowie, a stunning nine-year old chestnut field Setter looking for his forever home or forever foster home – a home and someone looking for devoted companionship from this spry, handsome, dapper fellow! Bowie’s previous owners moved overseas and were unable to take him and Luna with them. (Luna is also a SWESR dog available for adoption.) Bowie is an intelligent fellow whose expressions are watchful and observant, and is a dedicated cuddler looking for a companion who will be as devoted to him as he is to you. Don’t be fooled by Bowie’s age, as he is able to run and turn on a dime, enjoys walks, and exploring the backyard, especially when a human companion is with him, which is his preference. He also welcomes play sessions inside of the home. Bowie welcomes belly rubs and love, and rightfully deserves to be the center of attention. He likes to talk with you, playfully grumbling when engaged with you and his toys, combined with kisses and smiles from him. But he will also let you know with a grumble or light growl if you are petting an area that bothers him or if he is concerned about something like a visit to the veterinarian’s office or a strange dog approaching him.
