Meet Boots, a beautiful Border Collie mix who has had a rough start. She’s spent her life chained, but now thanks to a beautiful rescue mom is blossoming in a home environment. She’s said to be around 4 years old, though she seems younger in energy and spirit. Boots is proving what a wonderful girl she truly is. She loves to run, explore the yard, and especially play with her new friend Cora. Cora can be a bit rough, but Boots handles it like a champ. Even her new blind senior friend, Socks, has decided she’s worth playing with!She is a shy girl at first, but she warms up very quickly. • Leash: She may pull a little, but when I remind her that I’m an “old woman,” she slows right down. • Car rides: Hops in fairly easily and rides well. • Vet care: Fully vetted, microchipped, and her 4DX test was all negative. Boots has been in foster for almost two weeks and has been no trouble at all. Her quirks are harmless and honestly kind of sweet: • Her foster mom leaves the back door open and Boots just loves to dart in and out, child like.
