From A Caring Place - All Breed Dog Rescue

This beautiful pup is BONNIE, a very sweet, initially shy, 3-year-old, 17 pound, spayed female, Maltese/Poodle cross. Bonnie lives in a foster home with two adults and two teens, plus a few dogs of varying sizes and ages, all with whom she gets along. She is a loving, gentle, sweet dog who wants to be with her people whenever possible. She has good house manners and is respectful. As we have gotten to know Bonnie, we have determined that she requires a calm household that has another gentle dog who can be her buddy, and where people are home more than not. Because Bonnie's first owners didn't socialize her with other people when she was young, Bonnie is insecure meeting new people. Taking things slowly with her is essential - and it works! Once Bonnie is comfortable, she is very sweet and friendly. She enjoys going for walks but continues to display insecurity and fear of unknown people. She would benefit from continued gentle training to help her not find the world such a scary place. Bonnies foster family is taking her for short walks to help her have positive experiences. Bonnie is housebroken. She was previously trained to use potty pads for toileting but is now trained to go…
