From Oakland Animal Services

Blinker – Sweet, Gentle, and Cuddly Blinker is a sweet 10-month-old Husky mix at 21 lbs. He has made an impressive transformation from shy and nervous to cuddly, curious, and increasingly confident. Sweet & Affectionate: Blinker loves pets, cuddles, and following his person around. He happily comes when called and enjoys simply relaxing nearby while his human works. Calm & Curious: He’s a pretty chill guy who settles easily for naps and has been a quiet companion so far. He’s curious about his surroundings while still taking new experiences at his own pace. Building Confidence: Blinker can be anxious outside and may freeze when meeting new people or seeing people on walks, but his confidence is growing quickly. Smart & Learning: Very food and treat motivated, Blinker is already working on “sit” and is eager to learn. He is mostly potty trained and does a good job alerting when he needs to go. Blinker would do best with appropriately matched dogs or as a solo dog with well-matched canine friends. Click here to learn how to adopt and submit your adoption questionnaire.
