From Yorkie Rescue Houston

Meet BIRDIE — a little lap dog with a splash of adventure! Birdie is a 3-year-old Yorkie/Shih Tzu mix weighing approximately 12–15 pounds. With her blonde-and-brown coat and love of both cuddles and playtime, she’s ready to bring some sunshine to her next family. Her previous family describes her as house-trained, leash-trained, crate-trained, and comfortable riding in the car. She loves toys, enjoys children, and is reported to be cat-friendly. Her favorite pastime? Playing in the water! After the fun, she’s happy to settle into a lap—and she’s accustomed to sleeping in bed with her person. Birdie was lovingly raised by her family from puppyhood. They are surrendering her because they can no longer keep up with her activity needs. She would enjoy a home that offers daily play, walks, regular grooming, and plenty of togetherness. Birdie is spayed and microchipped. Her previous owner reports current vaccinations and no known medical conditions. Looking for a cuddle buddy who also makes a splash? Birdie could be your girl! Families with children (5-25) will receive priority consideration
