From Adopt A Homeless Animal Rescue

Courtesy post: BILL WAS ABANDONED... BUT SOMEONE REFUSED TO GIVE UP ON HIM. Bill's story began when he was just a puppy in South Florida. His foster found him a home, believing he was finally safe and settled. But through a series of unfortunate circumstances and multiple homes, Bill eventually ended up abandoned and alone in an overcrowded rural Florida shelter—hundreds of miles away from where his journey began. His microchip had never been updated, so when the shelter reached out, the person who had originally fostered him was contacted. She couldn't turn her back on him. When the shelter and rescues in Florida had no available space, she paid $1,700 out of her own pocket to transport Bill all the way from Florida to Maryland—with no real plan other than getting him to safety. And now, Bill desperately needs help again. The resident dog in the home has become aggressive toward him, and with a toddler in the house, the situation has become increasingly stressful and unsafe. His foster has done everything she can, but she urgently needs to find Bill a foster or forever home where he can finally settle in and feel safe. MEET BILL—ALSO AFFECTIONATELY KNOWN AS “CRICKET!” Bill…

In the rescue's own words, as they published it.

How adopting Bill works

Adopt A Homeless Animal Rescue decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
