Meet Berkley! A spirited three-year-old German Shepherd/Hound mix currently in Youngsville, NC, whose essence is a joyful combination of playful energy, devoted companionship, and enormous ears wrapped in a silky black and tan coat. At about 70 pounds, Berkley is a tall, handsome boy with a heart every bit as big as those unforgettable ears he never quite grew into! His warm smile is equally charming, especially when he is proudly carrying a favorite tennis ball after another successful round of play. Berkley loves toys of all kinds and happily shares the fun! Toss a ball, start a friendly game of tug-of-war, or head outside for some playtime, and he is ready to join in. He enjoys running around, taking car rides, exploring on calm walks, and settling in afterward for some well-earned snuggles. Whether the day calls for adventure or couch time, Berkley simply loves being with his people! This playful boy is house-trained and crate trained, comes when called, and knows “sit.” He does well relaxing in his crate when left alone for short periods.
