He loves gentle pets and a rub down when you return from walks and sometimes he will approach you for gentle pats as well. But generally speaking, he is totally happy to just chill on his dog beds or a rug or pile of clothes and watch you while you go about your day at home. He has been fine being home alone for up to 8 hours. He hasn't had any accidents indoors, nor has he caused any mischief while home alone - no chewing of furniture or stealing food off the counter (at least not yet!). He is always excited to go for a little walk or a car ride. In car rides, he initially would pant a lot and stay standing. More recently, he has cozied up right away on rides and loves to hang out in the back seat, unbothered. He has done well in an apartment (foster home) but keep in mind he likes his space and it would be a good idea to have a few…
