Questions about Bart and/or our adoption policy should be sent to [email protected]; please do not call the rescue.*** Bart and his sister, Lisa, were only about 3 months old when they were found as abandoned strays. Both were suffering from malnutrition, loaded with worms and parasites and suffering from loss of fur. They were very apprehensive of people and spent their first few weeks here doing their best to avoid us. Here's what his foster mom has to say about him! This sweet boy is shy, but give him a confident canine buddy, and you’ll see his personality shine. Bart had a rough start to life. You may remember him as one of the mange puppies found by Scott back in October (2nd photo). Now his fur has grown back and he's healthy and ready for his forever home. Bart absolutely loves other dogs. At only 35 pounds, Bart is on the smaller size. But he gets along well with bigger or smaller dogs. He plays gently, shares toys and bones, and is wonderfully respectful of other dogs’ boundaries. At his foster home he…
