From Albuquerque Animal Services - Westside

Meet Bambi - Fetch Queen & Ball Delivery Specialist Bambi is a 3-year-old pit bull mix with a heart of gold and a very seriouscommitment to the game of fetch. We`re not talking casual backyardtossing-this girl treats fetch like it`s her full-time job, and she expectsyou to clock in. She`s easy to leash up, but once you start walking, be ready-Bambi comes inhot with a strong pull. The good news? After a solid fetch session (or ten),she settles down and walks much more politely. Turns out, the secret toloose-leash walking is simply. throwing the ball until your arm falls off. Speaking of balls-Bambi has impeccable fetch manners. She`ll chase it down, bring it right back, and gently place it directly in your hand like theprofessional she is. If you get distracted? Don`t worry-she`ll politely dropit on your foot as a helpful reminder that you have one job, and one jobonly. She`s incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loves snuggles and kisses just asmuch as she loves her tennis ball. She did fine with dogs at the fence butmade it very clear that socializing is secondary to fetch time. Bambi is also treat motivated, knows how to sit, and takes treats with agentle mouth-basically, she`s…
