Balto: Not Just Beautiful — Unbreakable Currently in Ohio Dutch Shepherd | ~2 Years Old Apply: www.madrescueinc.orgYes — he’s stunning. That brindle coat. Those amber eyes. That presence. But if you’re only stopping because he’s beautiful… please keep scrolling.Balto is not looking for admiration. He is looking for FOREVER — and we will choose carefully. Look closer.See his snout — slightly off kilter. That healed on its own after blunt trauma while he was surviving on the streets. No vet.No comfort. No pain meds.Just survival. ‍Balto survived abuse. He survived starvation. He survived broken bones that healed without medical care.He survived before rescue. And heartbreakingly… he has had to survive after rescue, too. Yes — he has been adopted and returned. Twice.1 First return: inexperienced handler.2 Second return: experienced handler carrying trauma from a prior dog. Both times he lost his home. Both times he came back to MAD Rescue. Both times he had to start over.So let us be clear — lovingly, but firmly: If you do not have staying power… If you are not mentally strong… If you are looking for easy…Please keep scrolling.Balto is not a “let’s try.”He is not a project. He is not a test…
