Hi everyone! My name is Baby and I am a sweet, laid-back 12-year-old, 8-pound female Apple Head Chihuahua. As a senior, I am looking for a quiet home. I can be cautious with strangers at first, but I warm up quickly—especially if treats are involved. Once I trust you, I am a loyal and protective companion. I enjoy keeping you company when you are home, but I am not a "velcro dog"; I am perfectly well-behaved and calm when you need to step out for errands. I am a vocal girl and will bark to alert you if someone is at the door or in the yard, so I would do best in a single-family home rather than an apartment or condo. My foster mom has been working on my manners, and I have made great progress; I no longer bark at birds, other neighborhood dogs, or outside noises. I am house-trained, though I do not use a dog door. Because of my size, I need to be supervised while outdoors. My favorite routine is a nice morning walk (about a half-mile is perfect for my little legs) followed by a long nap in my bed or sitting next to you while you watch TV. I get along well with the small dogs in my foster home, though I don’t play as much as I used to. My ideal forever home would have one or two…
