Meet Aurora ***The first step in the adoption process is to go to www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org to complete the adoption application*** Hi, my name is Aurora! The humans also call me Rory. I am a young dog looking for an active home. The humans say I can't be much over a year old. I love to wrestle with the other dogs for hours. I like people and will snuggle sometimes but really, I just want to play and run with my dog friends! I have a naughty habit of jumping on people, but the humans are working on it while I'm here. I will likely need continued help remembering people don't want to be jumped on. I was adopted once before, and the people said I would get out of the fence and had more energy than was ideal for their family. Unfortunately, my pent-up energy led me to chewing some things inappropriately and jumping more and more. I do well in the fence at my foster home but I'm never alone. I can be cat tested again if my potential home has cats. but the first time I was in foster I was only curious about the cats and never hurt them. I do take a little bit to get comfortable with new dog friends. but once I'm comfortable we will play forever! I don't particularly care for…

How adopting Aurora works

Emmet County Animal Shelter decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
