Meet Athena – Your Adventure Buddy in the Making! Athena is a beautiful 3-year-old girl who is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all of her vaccines. She's ready to find the patient, loving home she's been waiting for. Athena can be a little skittish when meeting new people and may need some extra time to feel safe and comfortable. She tends to warm up to women more quickly than men, but once you've earned her trust, you'll discover just how incredibly sweet and affectionate she truly is. This energetic girl is looking for an active family that can keep up with her zest for life. Whether it's long walks, hiking adventures, or plenty of playtime, Athena will happily be by your side. She would also benefit from continued training to help build her confidence and strengthen her bond with her new family. Athena is searching for a home with no other animals and older children who can respect her need for patience as she settles in. If you're willing to give Athena the time she needs, you'll gain a loyal, loving companion who will make every day brighter. Come meet Athena and see if she's the missing piece of your family!Interested in adopting? Fill out an application at…

How adopting Athena works

Humane Society of Warren County decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
