From Coastal K9 German Shepherd Rescue

Honor is one of the six puppies from Asha’s miracle litter, one of the last two girls still waiting for their first-ever home. Sweet, social, and full of puppy joy, Honor has always had a special spark. She is friendly and exuberant and always has a smile on her face. Honor is currently living in a foster home with her foster brother Shaggy, a large GSD mix. When Shaggy boarded with us, our experienced team wondered if Honor might be the gentle companion he needed. They couldn’t have been more right. The moment Shaggy met Honor, something shifted. His fear didn’t just soften, it lifted. In Honor, he found comfort…confidence…and a friend who saw him for exactly who he was. The two became inseparable within hours, playing, exploring, and communicating in that unique, wordless way dogs do when their souls recognize something familiar. Shaggy, the shy, hesitant boy who had arrived trembling, was suddenly bright-eyed and alive, tail wagging with the kind of joy only another dog could unlock. Our team watched in awe. Shaggy wasn’t just coping…He was thriving. Seeing the change in Shaggy, his family asked if they could foster Honor until she found her forever home. Today, Honor is…
