Meet Ariel — a 4 year old, 10 lb Yorkie mix who just wants to be someone's devoted side kick! Quick Facts: Name: Ariel Breed: Yorkie Mix Age: 4 years old Weight: 10 lbs. House-Trained: Yes Crate-Trained: Yes Good with Dogs: Yes – with proper introduction Good with Cats: Not tested Good with Kids: No Energy Level: Medium Fence Required: Yes About Ariel’s Breed: Our best guess is that Ariel is a Yorkshire Terrier mixed breed. Yorkshire Terriers may be tiny, but they come with big personality. Beneath their dainty, silky coats lies a feisty, bold, and confident terrier heart. Yorkies were originally bred as tough little ratters in English mills, which explains their spirited, sometimes bossy nature and their alert, curious attitude. They’re affectionate with their families, often bonding closely with their chosen person, and they carry themselves with unmistakable pride. Yorkies thrive in a home that matches their big dog confidence and small dog sensitivity. They do best with adults or families with older, gentle children who understand how to handle a tiny dog with care. Because they bond closely with their people, they love homes where they can be included in daily routines…
