AMARI NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Amari Best Guess for Breed: Husky mix Best Guess for Age: 2 years as of September 2026 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 47 lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: DC area foster home Special Adoption Consideration: Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. She has a sweet, independent spirit and seems to appreciate having a safe place to relax and be herself. Now that her mama duties are behind her, she’s ready for a family of her own! As a Husky mix, she’ll likely enjoy an active home with plenty of walks, outdoor…
