From Oakland Animal Services
Abby is a 4-year old, 70-pound house hippo who has never met a stranger. She knows her sit, comes when you call her name, and travels at the speed of a land seal on a scenic route. Short strolls, long couch sessions, zero rush. She's independent around other dogs, so she'd happily be the one and only queen of your household or share the throne with a carefully chosen dog pal. Bring the couch and she'll handle the rest. Click here to learn how to adopt and submit your adoption questionnaire.

How adopting Abby works
Oakland Animal Services decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
