From Best Friend Pet Adoption

Abby is a 4-year-old, 65-lb Rottweiler with a loving and confident personality. She’s friendly and adores attention, especially belly rubs, and thrives when she has time to spend with her people. Abby has a moderate energy level—she loves carrying her Jolly Ball, chewing on Kongs, and enjoys daily walks. She can pull on leash at first but settles with proper exercise or longer walks. Abby is housebroken, crate trained, and mat/place trained, and is comfortable being alone for 4–5 hours during the day. She also does very well on long trips and during hotel stays, making her a great travel companion. While she is dog selective and takes time to warm up to new canine friends (she prefers low-energy dogs), she can do well in a home with a patient introduction process—or as the only dog. She hasn’t been around cats and does best with older children. Abby’s ideal home includes a fenced yard for safe play and enrichment, and an experienced adopter who will spend quality time training, playing nose work games, or just relaxing together. She’s confident, loves attention, and would make a devoted lap dog for the right person. If you’re looking for a friendly, affectionate, and confident…
