From Only Maine Coons Rescue

Located in Blairstown, NJ Zenita is a Pure-Breed Maine Coon. She was removed from her breeder's home by Animal Control. She was very sick, and her beautiful fur uncared for. She tested positive for Campylobacter (bacteria). This has done a number on her insides. She has been treated, but this condition will always be a struggle for her. She was shaved at the shelter, and her fur is starting to grow back. Zenita is a very high energy girl. She does not sit still. She gets very excited to see people. She explores everything. She has 24 toes- 6 on each paw. It is recommended that she be the only cat due to her diagnosis as it can be transferred to other cats. Humans must also be careful, and it is advised to wash your hands or use gloves when handling her waste. She is a beautiful girl who is recovering from being in a not so good environment. She is on a special diet and probiotics that get mixed into her food.
