It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old. YAZHU and what we believe are his siblings were saved from a really rough neighborhood in LA County. This wonderful group that helps out people in that area do TNR (Trap - Neuter - Return) saved them. So the adults were all TNRed and the kittens were sent to rescues. We took on YAZHU and his siblings (YING - YANG - YISRAEL - YAWEN). YAZHU has been ready for his FUREVER home for a long time.
