Meow meet Valentino! He is a handsome, long haired buff gentleman who is ready to find someone who appreciates a cat with a big heart and an even bigger appreciation for attention! His owner sadly passed away, and thankfully, a kind neighbor was able to care for Valentino until he could make his way to the rescue. Through all the changes, he has remained the sweet, affectionate, loving, and gentle boy he is. He’s very friendly and would be happiest with someone who enjoys having a devoted companion nearby and is happy to give him lots and lots of attention. Valentino would be especially well suited for a someone who is retired or at home most of the day. Older, respectful children are okay, as long as they understand that Valentino likes attention on his terms and that reading his body language is important. He’ll let you know when he is ready for affection - and when he’s had enough. His gorgeous long coat also means regular brushing is a must. Valentino also requires special dietary food, and his feeding routine needs to be followed for his health.
