Serenity (2 years old) Serenity doesn’t know who named her, but she would prefer a name more suited to her spirited personality, like Jamboree or Salsa or Whirlwind. She has tons of energy and is looking for someone who will spend time with her, offer her plenty of toys, help her polish her skills in playing fetch with treats, brush her hair, and give her tall scratchers, trees, and shelves for reaching, climbing, and jumping. Serenity also loves to talk and follow you around, just to make sure that you know she is there. Walking back and forth across your lap is fun for her to do, but she isn’t a full-on lap cat. In fact, in many ways Serenity is a cat who needs a little distance, much preferring you to touch her with a brush or offer her a wide variety of toys and amusements to satisfy her natural cat instincts of hunting and chasing. Fluffy beds are a must for when she is tuckered out. Serenity is a neat and tidy cat, and her room is always clean. Her “no-no list” includes kids, cats, dogs, and people who get their hands and fingers in her face too much.
