From Kindness Matters Rescue Inc

Update- Sammy had a long recovery but due to critical care from Susanne Hoshino, he is now available for adoption. His eye did not need to be removed but we believe he is blind in one eye. That does not stop him from interacting with the other cats and dogs in his foster home. He is very affectionate to humans. Sammy was found by a Good Samaritan who then contacted Kindness Matters Rescue for help due to his injuries. His eye will need to be removed but he should do fine once healed. He was full of ticks and worms and was underweight but all those issues have been dressed. He will be available for adoption once he recovers.

In the rescue's own words, as they published it.

How adopting Sammy works

Kindness Matters Rescue Inc decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
