From Noah Project

Salem is a 2 year old male who can be afraid of his own shadow. Anything that scares him causes him to dive under or in something to feel safe. Unfortunately due to this, people aren't able to see how gorgeous he really is! He has opened up to a small group of people who have found that he is very soft, he loves to be pet, and treats are the best way to his heart. From the people who adore him from afar, they have noticed that he loves to be with other cats (headbutting is his love language), he loves sunbathing and he prefers to be under things instead of high places. Salem has been here for over 2 years and he deserves to find his furever home. We want him to be able to experience a home to call his own and a family that will make him feel safe and loved. Salem has never been around dogs, so we aren't sure how he would do. If you are a understanding and patient person who is willing to let Salem come to you, he will become your best friend. He will show you endless attention and love. Please give Salem a chance. You may find me on our website under "ADOPT

In the rescue's own words, as they published it.

How adopting Salem works

Noah Project decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
